Raw Honey NZ is the specialty of Parakore Honey. By keeping our honey in its true raw form, with limited processing, it retains most of the beneficial nutrients and antioxidants that honey contains.

Welcome to Parakore Honey NZ — home of NZ honey brands and the home of “pure” New Zealand Honey. New Zealand is internationally renowned for its quality honey. We have the most wonderful environment with purity and fascinating landscapes and unique flora and fauna. New Zealand is able to bring full and flavoursome honey from across many regions in the country.

Here at Parakore Honey we share the passion of our New Zealand Beekeepers and we assist them in bringing their honey to the market through a well-managed and implemented domestic risk management programme (RMP). This RMP ensures that the end user is receiving high quality, enriching and authentic honey.

We have a traceability system starting from the honeybee hives right through to the jars or bulk containers purchased through our online shop.

Stephen Beeby - Owner and Beekeeper

Stephens passion for bees began as a hobby but quickly developed into a small boutique honey production business.

Well known for his entrepreneurship, Stephen quickly realised that there was a shortage of extracting and packaging plants in the Otago region and wanted to be able to assist the region and so Parakore Honey was born.

From a family of beekeepers, Stephen’s Uncle, Richard Beeby, was one of the first to export honey to Dubai in the early 80’s and Stephen is continuing what Richard started.
