2 bottles of red wine (dry cabernets work well)
1 orange cut into slices
2 cinnamon sticks
2 star anise
½ cup Parakore Honey
Add wine to a crockpot on low heat, along with all the other ingredients, and allowing it to sit for 2-4 hours is a simple and effective way to infuse your dishes with rich flavors. The slow cooking process allows the wine to mingle with the other ingredients, enhancing their taste and creating a depth of flavor that is sure to impress. To save time, mix all ingredients in a pot on the stove and let it sit for 30 minutes at a warm temperature. Avoid bringing it to a boil if using a stovetop. If using a sweeter wine, consider using less honey… or not! 🙃
